M1 is an 11-story commercial complex and the first and only LEED Platinum certified project in Lebanon. The building is able to reduce consumption by 31% compared to a baseline building (based on ASHRAE 90.1-2007) via climate-friendly technologies such as VRV air conditioning systems, high-performance glazing, efficient lighting with controls and dimming, and a PV system to name a few.

Description
M1 is a commercial complex that includes office and retail spaces. It has achieved the highest level of certification available in LEED. With regard to energy performance, the building is able to reduce consumption by 31% compared to a baseline building (based on ASHRAE 90.1-2007). This is done through the use of efficient VRV air conditioning systems, high-performance glazing, efficient lighting with controls and dimming, low consuming elevators, and a full BMS system. In addition, the building is equipped with a PV system that is able to cover 1.75% of the building's needs.
