The AUC New Cairo Campus is designed to accommodate 5,500 full-time students and 1,500 faculty and staff on 260-acres as a technologically advanced and environmentally sensitive campus to offer state-of-the-art resources to students and faculty worldwide. The campus weaves Egyptian urban and architectural traditions into a modern campus and is designed to be accessible to persons with disabilities. The University has a planned landscape that includes nearly 150 different plants – a mixture of international and native Egyptian and more than 8,000 trees.

Additional information
The campus was built using 24,000 tons of reinforced steel and 115,000 square meters of stone, marble, granite cladding, and flooring. The main entrance to campus, is inspired from the structure from AUC Tahrir Square’s iconic arch.
