The Centre Hospitalier du Nord, Zgharta
The Centre Hospitalier du Nord is an existing one-block hospital building, with 110 beds and floor space of 1,000m² located in Zgharta - North Lebanon. Built in 1986, the hospital started operation in 1997.
Description
The aim of the pilot project is the implementation of energy efficiency measures that were identified in an earlier energy audit. The audit suggested realistic energy saving measures with acceptable payback times, taking into consideration the actual situation of the hospital. Measurements for the audit were taken between September and November 2003. In addition, annual statistics and financial data were analysed.
