BUILD_ME joins MED Energy Talks: Performance Labelling in Mediterranean Buildings

We are pleased to report on the recent session in the MED Energy Talks series, which took place on Thursday, 24 April 2025. This event featured BUILD_ME's Project Manager, Riadh Bhar from Guidehouse, and brought together energy performance experts from around the Mediterranean to discuss key topics related to energy efficiency and sustainable construction.

Riadh shared valuable insights from the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) scheme and the Building Energy Performance Tool (BEP Tool). The session provided important information for professionals interested in enhancing energy performance and supporting the EU Green Deal. The session covered several important topics, including:

• The impact of labelling on energy performance
• Prospects aligned with EU climate goals
• A case study of the new GRASSMED rating system
• Key insights from the meetMED – Together We Switch to Clean Energy initiative
